With BUSlink's cardbus notebook USB 2.0 Hub you get a dramatic performance increase over the standard USB 1.1. Whereas USB 1.1 is only 12Mbits/s, the new USB 2.0 Hi-Speed specification used by BUSlink USB 2.0 runs at up to 480Mbits/s. USB, standing for "Universal Serial Bus", allows you to attach multiple peripheral devices simultaneously with automatic device detection and installation. Since USB 2.0 Hi-Speed is an evolution of the existing USB 1.1 specification, it is fully forward and backward compatible with current USB systems and peripherals.
